This all original 300tdi has been rebuilt and restored back to better than factory condition.

It was reworked onto a galvanised chassis with the axles fully stripped, cleaned, painted and rebuild and put on with all new brakes, suspension and poly bushed through-out.

The body work was dismantled panel by panel worked down and resprayed.

As well as changing all fluids and filters, we also replaced all key wearing parts such as clutch, cambelt and fan belt.

No expense was spared on tastefully restoring this original Defender.  With its new lease of life it will be on the road for at least another 25 years… if not more!

This vehicle now contains a 2.8l 300 tdi engine.

The engine has been fully stripped and chemically cleaned then re-bored out to 2.8 ltr. An international engine kit has been fitted with new crank shaft, piston and con rods. A new competition cylinder head that has been further gas flowed along with a gas flowed inlet manifold. A reconditioned competition fuel injection pump has been fitted to complement the larger capacity engine and a VNT Turbo. It has a custom made fuel leak off rail and power steering pipes to match the full silicon hose kit.

Additionally we have fitted a paddle competition clutch and a higher ratio transfer box.

This vehicle has been modified to include:-

A 300 tdi 2.8 engine with modified and gas flowed cylinder head and VNT turbo charger, A professionally upgraded fuel injection pump and injectors, Uprated intercooler with modified inlet and outlet couplings, Modified inlet manifold and a complete custom built induction tract that is 20% larger than standard, Competition clutch and an Ashcroft gearbox with a modified selector set up & Self-locking rear diff and truetrac front differential

This vehicle has been modified to include:-

 A TVR Rover derived 4.2l v8 competition engine, Edelbrock 500cfm quad jet carburettor and dual pane manifold, Paddle competition clutch, Custom built big bore exhaust, Ashcroft stumpy r380 gear box, Discovery 2 front and rear axles & Lowered competition suspension -3inch

The engine is matched to a short bellhousing box and custom-built engine mounting to allow the engine to be as far back and low as possible to enhance road holding and handling
